Last night I saw The Lost Trailers at an awesome new club in Green Bay! Seen them three times in the last five weeks. I've also recently seen Craig Morgan, Phil Vassar, Gary Allan (my first time, he was awesome!), Rodney Atkins, James Otto.

Missed Justin Moore's show (still got to meet him though) but got to see Eric Church. He was really awesome. He had a broken leg so he had to sit for the show (which you could tell was killing him lol he has so much energy). Hopefully I can make it to one of his shows after his leg heals because I'm sure it's one heck of an experience. _________________ :-)Emily

Ruby Jane at Gruene Hall. It was market day there,so she got a good size crowd for her show. Went by fast though with her playing 3 new songs. I hope she has a new cd out early next year.
Hi everyone,
My latest one was Randy Travis. My sister LInda, our best friend Carolyn all went to our first Randy Travis concert. We had a blast. He sang lots of his hits and told humorous stories as well as several jokes. In addition to his own songs he sang crowd favorites, King Of The Road and Don't Think Twice It's All Right. Of course he sang I Told You So the No. 1 for him in 1988 and the Carrie Underwood song that was a hit for her as both a solo and her duet version of it featuring him. He's nominated for 2 CMA awards for that song (he wrote it). During his encore he paid homage to the legends like Earnst Tubbs's I'm Walking The Floor Over You, Merle Haggard's It Was Fun and Vern Gosdin's Set 'Em Up Joe. He did as well singing with just his guitar playing and his voice on A Horse Called Music and I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry as he did with his great band in high gear behind him. He was onstage for at least 2 hrs without a break. He hit low notes that vibrated the walls that night. What a show!

Carrie and Keith. What a SHOW. I actually saw it three times in three different cities. These two are the best!!! I also recently saw Taylor on her bus, and I feel sorry for her. She is so dismal without those studio sound enhancements. Poor girl. _________________ Never worry about that which you cannot change. It is what it is for a reason.

The last concert I went to was Big Spring Jam in Huntsville, Alabama. 3 nights of Country Music. I guess the last person I saw would be Sara Evans. She's awesome live.

Saw Jimmy Wayne, Dierks Bentley and Brad Paisley last Friday. Awesome show. If you've never seen Jimmy Wayne, I highly recommend him. Dierks Bentley reminds me of Keith Urban in terms of energy and passion for what he's doing. Brad was very good, his guitar playing is some of the best, but without the video screens and all of his other fancy lights and gadgets, I would probaby not have enjoyed him nearly as much. _________________ "Til it's worth the pain, you're just walking in the dark, that's what it takes To Find a Heart." - Big Kenny
American Revival Tour last night. Sierra Hull,Uncle Earl,Dixie Bee liners. I thought it would be longer 2 hrs. for the 3. Around 30 minutes each. There was a no flash or video aloud also. Kinda bummed about that. Still it was great, and bands I've gotten to see for the first time. Dixie was the best to me as wanting to make fans. Next weekend Belleville and Ruby Jane.

I saw Dierks Bentley last Saturday night... He was fantastic! What I liked the best was that he went out of his way to sing only his more familiar songs. There were maybe two songs I didn't know. It was a great singalong show, and he did Waylon Jennings, Hank Jr., Alabama and some bluegrass tunes. My favorite part was when he did "A Lot of Leavin' Left To Do."
Gloriana was his opening act and they weren't very good. For starters, they were too freaking loud to hear what they were singing. It seemed like a lot of yelling mixed in with a never-ending thump. I was glad when they wrapped it up.

Most venues allow cameras with no flash....but alas some don't know how to turn off their flash. Contact the person in charge promising not to use flash....Buy a quality camerea aith a high OPITCAL zoom....and a super high speed card...you will do quite well. Flash photography is the worst anyway for darkened arenas....you usually get clear shots of ths back of someones head....fugifilm has excellent cameras in the midrange.the s-7700 is what I use....big enough but with an attached lens...the DSLR with detatchable lenses is a no-no big time _________________ LOVE EVERYBODY AS THEY ARE !

My video camera will take snap shots without flash. Just bummed that of no videos. I've gotten in to do them lately. No biggy though,I have 4 hrs of Ruby Jane and 7 of Belleville concerts this weekend. Will get plenty of video then. Hopefullyv some new songs and surprise guest with them. Flash in a dark area does give temporary blindness to a person. I never do that at a concert no straight close to them.
