KELLIE PICKLER IS THE BEST! She comments all of her fans back on myspace and talks with us in a chat room. She is so friendly and genuine. Listen to her, she has a great story to tell.

lsfan1 I had almost the same experience as you did with Garth only it was May of 2005 and at the Medallion Ceremony at the HOF. After 12 hours of waiting my heart about sunk when Garth's SUV pulled out of the parking lot and he and Trisha just waved. I had heard from sources inside the show that they weren't going to sign after wards but I just had to stay just in case. My prayers were answered when he pulled over to the curb and both he and Trisha got out. Being a fan since the 1989 I had never had the chance to meet him before but had always heard how great he was with his fans. No one had lied, he was awesome with each and everyone of us that had stayed, taking the time to talk with each and every one, asking our names and allowed pictures. It was a day I'll never forget and one less listing on my bucket list.
Another artist that is great with his fans is Keith Anderson. I've been a fan of his before his first CD was released and have had the privilege to meet him numerous times both at concerts and his FC parties. He ALWAYS takes time with his fans and he gives the best hugs!
Gotta love those Okies!

Hmm, I can't say I've ever met anyone who's been outright rude. But I've met some very nice ones Patricia Conroy is one of the absolute best, met her after an awards show outside waiting for her drive and she was very sweet and down to earth, she happily signed autographs, posed for pictures (I kick myself now for not getting one) and talked to myself and a couple others for a good 10 minutes or more like we were old friends instead of people she'd just met, and would probably never see again, and I suspect she would have stayed longer had her drive not showed up anxious to leave.
Big And Rich are another friendly duo. met them at the Cavendish Beach Music festival in July, they arrived in town the night before they were scheduled to play and hit up the local bar to play there. The night they played, they convinced festival staff to extend the 11pm close so they could play right to 11pm and still have time to sign autographs and talk to/meet fans, they then proceeded to announce that they were headed back to the local bar after autographs and invited everyone to join them over there again.
Terri Clark I found very friendly, but she appeared as though she was being rushed by security who were insisting no personalizations and no posing for pictures and she looked kind of stressed, she tried to talk to people as she signed but as she was talking to one person the next item to be signed was being pushed in front of her and that person was trying to talk to her as well. I understand they want to get as many people through in the time that she has to sign, but I wish they'd have just left her be, when the line dwindled down and security (except for her personal one obviously) went about their business she appeared to loosen up laughing and posing for a handful of pictures. Next time I go to one of her shows I hope security is a little more relaxed. _________________ " No Fear"

Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts was rude. But he was also in a rush, and I think he's hard of hearing....
Emerson Drive is the nicest group of guys (IMO) you'll ever meet. Pretty much after every show they come back out and chat with fans and sign autographs until EVERYONE who's attended the show has got to say hi.
When I met Little Big Town in 2005 they were also very nice. Especially Kimberly (she's the blonde girl) she's one of the sweetst people I've ever come across!
Phil Vassar is also an amazing guy. Very friendly and likable and although his road manager is pretty rude and pushy, Phil doesnt care- he'll talk to fans however long he wants to, which is great. In Sidney Montana we were told we had to get a quick pic, autograph, and move on. Well that wasn't how it worked. Phil was very laid back and relaxed, and took his time, as did the fans. _________________ A supporter of talent

I have met some really sweet ones but the best one I have ever met was Bucky Covington, he was so genuine it really impressed me.
Others who i've met that are nice...
Joe Nichols (a bit shy but very sweet)
Emerson Drive....they are sooo funny
Jack Ingram
Andy Griggs
Trace Adkins
Pat Green
Big and Rich
Cowboy Troy
Eddie Montgomery
Chris Cagle
Little Big Town
Holly Dunn
Lee Ann Womack
Dan Seals
Pam Tillis
John Connelly
Jerry Reed
Doug Stone

^^^ Toby was a gentleman to my mom and me when we met him.
You're not the first person I've talked to though who has nothing good to say about meeting Natalie.
God bless you and Toby always!!! _________________ Forgive me for not being little Miss Perfect.

I always try to remember they are human and like the rest of us have their off days. So I didn't hold it against Toby, with Natalie though she was just downright nasty, felt she shouldn't be bothered and made sure people knew that.

^^^ Back when I was at the official website message forum for SheDaisy, I talked to a guy over there who said that he got to meet the Chicks. The lady that he was married to at the time was a big fan of them and she wanted him to go with her to see them and so he did and with her being their fan, she introduced the girls to him. One of the other two girls asked him if he was a fan of country music like his spouse was, and when he said, "No, not really." Natalie said to him in return, "Well what good are you then?" He said that he fired back at her though, but with words that I can't say.
God bless you and him always!!! _________________ Forgive me for not being little Miss Perfect.

I feel the same way about Gary. I held it against him for a while, but then realized he was really in a rush that day- not to mention I really do believe the guy is very hard of hearing. _________________ A supporter of talent

Country aritists in general are very nice...it is part of their sucess...you have to be sincerely nice. Hank Jr....may be the one who have had a moment or thirty....but that was part of his image. The biggest hard head award has to go to Jerry Lee Lewis.... Paid 20.00 to see him in Bad Bobs Vapors club in Memphis. he came on @ 10:30 PM...chewed out the crowd for dancing and not paying attention....then he chewed out the staff for not bringing a constant supply of drinks...finally chewed out his band for talking while they played. Finally @ 11:15 he stood up grabbed his drink and left. We thought he would come back...nope he left for good. Maybe this was his personna...but we paid good money for this? We read a review in the Sunday paper where Jerry Lee was a surprise guest at an after hour club and played until 4:00 AM for free after leaving Bad Bobs. I said I would never forget this and I haven't _________________ LOVE EVERYBODY AS THEY ARE !

^^^ I don't blame you! If that man hasn't changed, then to me, he is in serious need still of an attitude adjustment.

Ha Ha..Holly...I forgot one time we were at the dentist in Memphis when he and his wife (now Ex) and a brat came into the office. He just stomped into the exam area while his wife and kid sat in the lobby....the kid was continually kicking his mother and screaming. We heard Jerry Lee yelling from the back...".IF YOU CAN'T GIVE ME SOME XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I"LL GO TO SOMEONE WHO WILL" He then stomped out ~cussing all the way ! I think his attitude is more than an act...it is who he is. But with all due respect...he is one of the last living original rock-a-billys...he set the example of how a rock and roll star should act....however good that may be. What can I say...long live Jerry Lee _________________ LOVE EVERYBODY AS THEY ARE !

^^^ That is awesome!
If you haven't already said, out of those that you've met, if any of them walked any extra miles in your opinion, who did? Tell us about them when you can! Who stands out the most for you?
God bless you always!!!
P.S. I see that Roy Clark is on your pedestal right now. Why him? When my mom went to see him, he wouldn't give the fans the time of day, so she never got to meet him. _________________ Forgive me for not being little Miss Perfect.

Then we caught him on a good day at a smaller venue. He was out at the merchandise table with the band; all were very nice, but he's so funny.
Phil Vassar had his bus parked by the front door of the venue and was just getting to it as we came out. He is very sweet, very polite, and quite charming.
The boys in the Alabama band are all very nice, very fan oriented and 5 years after leaving the road still have a two fan events each year that are reasonably well attended. I ran into Mark Herndon (the drummer) last year after not seeing him for several years; the pictures are hysterical, but he hung out for awhile and was as sweet as ever. _________________ I'm in it for the music!

^^^ My mom saw Roy at the place named the Little Nashville Opry which was in the city of Nashville, Indiana. I say was because the place was burned down about a month or so ago. I hated to learn of the news because me and my family used to go there to see people sing all the time.
I haven't seen anything yet about if the place will be rebuilt or not.

Phoebe and Ruby have always been attentive when talked to. The guys are allright but you know us guys talking to each other. I get smiles and hugs now days from Phoebe. Willie Pipkin's a lucky guy(BF). Phoebe still helps with the Austin Youth Orchestra, and is always at the music trainning tents at festivals for beginning artist to get tips from . She used to teach at it and the Montessouri school. I think her and like Ruby will be in the noticed artist in the years to come with there personalities. Probaly not in the since of Alison but names being known.

I met Jason Aldean and he is so laid back and nice. The security guy told the crowd that was standing outside behind the civic center no pictures whenever someone would ask to take a picture. Jason said, no I will take pictures with them and stood out there and signed autographs and took pictures with everyone.
