I'm guessing now they are giving her more "freedom" to write her own material. I don't think any of us really know if she is a songwriter as well, because AI has been controlling her career so much. We'll see with this album if she wrote some of the songs.
Or maybe she hopes to do more songwriting in the future.

I think she has songwriting credits on Cowboy casanova along with Bobby Penson amd another great songwriter that slips my mind as of yet. Can't wait to see her nouns and verbs!

I am becoming a bigger fan of Carrie each day...her voice is pitch perfect. I only wish ahe would make a true statement for herself....you know? Pick it up a bit Carrie...have fun with your celebrity! Idea
